Abstract
This study examined the various teaching experienced by a physical education teacher. The researcher as a research participant revealed his own lived experience regarding school culture from 2008 to 2024 using autoethnography. The annual critical case and research reflection notes were generated from the various data including class assignments and research notes. Data were analyzed using domain, taxonomic, and constant comparative analysis. The result showed four categories: 1) a sport instructor period(2008-2011): an alien life 2) a temporary PE teacher period(2012-2013): a proxy life. 3) an initial PE teacher period(2017-2020): a stuffy youngster life, 4) an experienced PE teacher period(2021-2024): a teacher researcher life. The study suggested three implications and future directions.
