- Abstract
- 본 연구의 목적은 통합적 요리활동이 유아의 수 개념 발달에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국의 경우 J시에 위치한 I유치원 유아 12명, 미국의 경우 B시에 위치한 C유치원 유아 12명을 대상으로 통합적 요리활동을 5주간 적용하였다. 연구절차는 예비검사, 사전검사, 본 실험 및 사후검사의 순으로 이루어졌다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 사용하여 유아의 수학능력과 수학적 태도에 대한 효과를 검증하고자 독립표본 t검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 통합적 요리활동에 참여한 한국유아와 미국유아의 수학능력과 수학적 태도가 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 통합적 요리활동이 유아의 수 개념 발달 향상에 효과적으로 증진하는 교수학습방법임을 알 수 있으며 지속적으로 프로그램을 활용한다면 유아의 수 개념 발달이 향상될 것으로 사료된다.
