dc.description.abstractIn this study, a battery replacement station that can automatically replace the discharged battery of a mobilerobot with a charged battery is designed and manufactured. The battery replacement station can automaticallyremove the discharged battery and load a charged battery into the mobile robot. To develop the mechanicaldevice of the battery replacement station, a new model is developed and simulated, and the size of the mainsection is designed using software. The characteristic test of the manufactured mobile battery replacement stationshows that the battery is replaced seamlessly within 23 s. Therefore, the developed battery replacement stationcan be used to replace batteries automatically in mobile robots.-
