- Abstract
- This study used the narrative inquiry method to deeply explore the educational meaning of the various roles of physical education teachers. The data were collected based on the five physical education teachers’ interviews and the documents. The data were analyzed based on the content analysis and domain analysis. As a result of the study, “The story regarding the role of physical education teachers” focused on the role based on the space where physical education teachers reside. Specifically, the roles of physical education teacher were discussed based on the space such as classroom, the gym, the students’ safety and living department, the athletic department, and the teacher’s department. Based on the results, discussions were followed in terms of “The looking back on the role of the physical education teacher.”
