한국 항만도시의 항만산업클러스터 분석에 관한 연구

Abstract

This paper uses location quotient method of the port industry cluster of 12 port cities which are representative maritime cities in Republic of Korea. This study systematically classified the 10th Korea Standard Industry Code reported in Statics Korea. Previous studies on the port economy have normally focused on the input-output analysis and the effect on the national economy in the context of the port city. However, this study shed light on the concentration of the industrial location including maritime industry. As a result of the analysis, Busan so called world-class port city shows strong location quotient by port industry cluster. Seoul shows a strong location quotient on ocean going shipping business which are the highest number of employees.
