Optimal cutoff score for diagnosing generalized anxiety disorder with the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item scale in people living with epilepsy: A systematic review with diagnostic test accuracy meta-analysis (Vol 134, 229237, 2026)

Abstract

The authors regret that the published version of the above article contains an unnecessary justification statement. During the production process, the abbreviation table (Table 1) was reformatted as a footnote rather than remaining as a table in the manuscript. Consequently, the number of tables was reduced from three to two, and the total count of figures and tables decreased from seven to six (four figures and two tables). Since the final published version contains six figures and tables combined, which is within the Seizure guidelines (up to six figures and tables combined are permitted in the main manuscript), the following justification statement is no longer applicable and should be deleted:"Justification for the number of figures and tables: According to Seizure guidelines, up to six figures and tables combined are permitted in the main manuscript. This manuscript includes seven figures and tables (four figures and three tables), exceeding the guideline by one. This slight excess is necessary to comprehensively present the diagnostic test accuracy meta-analysis results for the optimal cutoff score of the GAD-7 in people living with epilepsy." The authors apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
