Abstract
Purpose: This study examined the effects of an AI/ICT-based integrated dementia cognitive care program on wellness, health self-efficacy, and dementia prevention behaviors among community-dwelling older adults. Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest design was employed with sixty-four older adults at the G Senior Welfare Center. The program was conducted over eight weeks, totaling forty sessions, from June 30 to September 18, 2025. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired and independent t-test, Pearson correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 23.0. Results: After the intervention, participants demonstrated statistically significant improvements in wellness, health self-efficacy, and dementia prevention behaviors. Dementia prevention behaviors were positively correlated with wellness (r=.32, p=.011) and health self-efficacy (r=.46, p<.001). Health self-efficacy was a significant predictor of dementia prevention behavior (β=.41, p=.005). Conclusion: The program enhanced participants’ engagement and cognitive stimulation through interactive digital content. These Findings indicate that AI/ICT-based cognitive interventions can effectively promote cognitive health and support prevent dementia in community-dwelling older adults.
