- Abstract
- This study aims to experiment with the effectiveness of teaching with Edutech and also to investigate the perceptions of elementary school students and their parents. It conducted not only quantitative analysis but also qualitative analysis through Zoom interviews and telephone interviews. Similar results were obtained by surveying the responses of students and their parents. First, both groups perceived positively in the affective domain. Second, both groups first learned the term Edutech in this class. Third, both groups preferred Kahoot and Chatterfix the most. For that reason, they responded that it was fun and interesting to use them. Fourth, they answered that the advantages of classes using Edutech were fun, interest, and self-direction, while the disadvantages were disconnection from the website and insufficient explanation for instructions. In conclusion, many students‘ interest in English has improved further through English classes using Edutech. However, there were also problems to be supplemented, such as access problems and detailed explanations on how to use them.
