- Abstract
- In this paper, we propose a two-dimensional (2D) planer overlapped wireless power transfer (WPT) system using high-isolated planar coils for spatial freedom of multiple receivers. The proposed transmitting coil is arrayed with highly isolated coils. The proposed planer overlapped WPT coil can transmit the power to the multiple receiving coils regardless of misalignments. For the performance verification, the power transfer efficiency (PTE) under the misalignments is measured. The proposed WPT system is matched at 6.78 MHz and has a transmission efficiency of approximately 70% in multiple wireless charging and misalignment environments. © 2024 IEEE.
