First report of four unrecorded macrofungal species in two national parks of South Korea

Abstract

During a mycological field survey conducted from 2023, 4 specimens of mushrooms belonging to different species were collected from national parks in South Korea. Based on molecular phylogenetic analyses and morphological examinations, four species (Entoloma cornicolor, Homophron spadiceum, Pluteus chrysophlebius, and Xeromphalina enigmatica) were reported for the first time in South Korea. This study presents morphological descriptions, color photographs, and phylogenetic analyses of these species.
