- Abstract
- This paper focuses on the population outflow of the youth and the distribution of jobs. Due to the continuous outflow of the youth population, the aging phenomenon is progressing more rapidly in some regions than in other regions. This is a situation where the vicious cycle of the youth population outflow accelerating and the regional decline is repeating. Therefore, we analyze the distribution of businesses by city and county in South Korea and analyze how much the population and business distribution are related to each other. As a research method, we use the scaling relation analysis technique, which is a previous study conducted in statistical physics and social physics. Through this, we analyze the correlation between two different indicators and discuss the implications and directions of follow-up research based on the analysis results.
