Abstract
To our knowledge, study has yielded that biological carbon sequestration is the use of photosynthesis of plants to improve ecological. The purpose of the present study was to investigate Research progress of plant available carbon in the earth's carbon cycle. One way to overcome these problems is to that plants can fix carbon dioxide as they grow through photosynthesis, and soil can sequester the carbon as decomposed biomass. This was demonstrated in a number of studies that showed that there are four mechanisms that affect the carbon sink of terrestrial ecosystems, namely climate change, CO2 fertilization, nitrogen deposition fertilization and the regeneration of forests after early destruction. Therefore, It is interesting to note that, how to fully utilize the carbon fixed by plants to extend the service time of plant carbon sinks or reduce the consumption of fossil energy is a worthwhile research issue in the process of achieving the dual carbon goal. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2025.
