- Abstract
- NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) issues in electric drive systems have a significant impact on vehicleperformance and ride comfort. This study proposes an effective method for analyzing NVH characteristics inthe design process of electric drive systems using Multi-Body Flexible Dynamics (MFBD). Unlike traditionalrigid body multi-body dynamics models, MFBD considers the flexibility of each component within thesystem, allowing for more realistic and precise analysis. Through this approach, the sources of vibrations andnoise in key components such as electric motors, gearboxes, and drive shafts are identified, and optimaldesign solutions for improving NVH performance are derived. Simulation results demonstrate that theMFBD-based approach offers greater accuracy and reliability in resolving NVH issues compared toconventional methods. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the enhancement of NVHperformance and optimization of design in electric drive systems.
