- Abstract
- 본 연구는 정신질환자에 대한 사회적 표상이 50년 전에 비하여 어떤 변화가 있고, 신체장애인의 사회적표상과는 어떤 차이가 있는지 알아보고자 했다. 일반인을 대상으로 정신질환 및 신체질환의 발병원인, 증상, 치료 및 환자와 병원에 대한 태도를 측정하기 위하여 정신질환에 관한 의견조사 질문지를 기초로 하고, 신체장애인의 경우 정신질환에 대한 척도를 수정, 보완하여 사용하였다. 연구결과, 과거 50년동안 정신질환에 대한 일반인들의 사회적 표상은 큰 변화를 나타내었으나 일부 부정적인 방향으로 악화된 특정 부분들이 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 신체장애인과 정신질환자를 비교하였을때, 신체장애인보다 정신질환자의 사회적 표상이 더 부정적으로 형성된 부분을 확인하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 제한점에 대해 논의하였다
