- Abstract
- 이 연구는 당진항 물동량 분석을 실시하고 정부의 평택·당진항 개발 계획을 검토하였으며, 거버넌스 차원에서 당진항 발전 방안을 제시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 당진항은 시멘트, 석탄, 철광석, 철재, 기타광석, 잡화 등 6개 품목에서 서해안권 항만들과 비교우위가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 정부가 제시한 평택·당진항 미래 비전이 1차 계획부터 2차 수정계획까지는 확대되고 있으나, 3차 계획부터 축소되었고 4차 계획에서는 유지되었다. 당진항 발전 방안으로 당진항 브랜드 네임 강화와 당진항을 통한 지역경제효과 증대 방안을 제시하였으며, 당진항 거버넌스 강화 방안으로 당진항 발전을 위한 TF 조직, 항만 관련 통계의 수집 및 관리, 평택·당진항 성장과 발전에 있어 당진항 기여도 분석, 당진항 독립 운영을 포함한 당진항 발전을 위한 장기 과제 선정을 제시하였다.
