dc.description.abstractThis study presents the design of a turning-center structure that incorporates mineral casting. Mineral castings offerexcellent natural frequency characteristics and stability, making them ideal materials for high-precision machiningtools. In this study, we propose a method for enhancing the structural performance of turning centers by using thismaterial. Structural analysis was conducted considering various design parameters, and the stiffness and naturalfrequency characteristics of the mineral casting structure were analyzed. The results indicated that the mineral castingstructure outperforms the traditional metal structures and demonstrates superior vibration damping. Therefore, mineralcasting is a promising method for improving vibration suppression and overall stability in high-precision turningcenters.-
