직업군인의 가족 연결성에 대한 내러티브 탐구

Abstract

본 연구는 직업군인들의 삶의 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구이다. 연구의 목적은 군인을 직업으로 선택하고, 가족들과 함께 낯선 근무환경을 극복하며, 살아온 삶의 경험이 의미하는 것을 통하여 다시 가족들과 행복한 삶을 살아가기 위한 질적변화를 모색하는 것이다. 이 목적수행을위하여 직업군인으로 근무하였던 연구참여자 4명을 선정하였고, 자료수집기간은 2019년 6월부터 2020년 7월까지이다. 연구참여자들이 살아온 삶에 대한 진솔한 이야기를 탐구하기 위하여Clandinin(2013)의 내러티브 탐구과정인 삶을 살아내기(living), 이야기하기(telling), 다시 이야기하기(retelling), 다시 삶을 살아내기(reliving)를 적용하여 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 직업군인으로 낯선 오지의 삶과 진급을 목표로 인내하고 살아온 삶은 가족에게로향하는 연결성이었고, 그 경험에서 주는 가장 큰 울림은 가족돌봄의 소중함을 알게한 연구였다. 이처럼 직업군인과 가족들의 삶의 경험에서 나타난 의미와 질적변화를 심층적으로 탐구하였다는데 그 의의가 있으며, 본 연구는 향후 군인가족들의 삶에 대한 연구의 이론적 틀을 제공하게 될 것이다.

This research is a narrative approach to life experiences of soldiers. Point of this research is finding quality changes to live happy life with family again according to experience, ‘choice to have soldier as a job’, ‘overcoming unfamiliar envivonment’. Data was collected form 4 chosen participant, which worked as soldier and data collecting was from June in 2019 to July in 2020. Data was collected and analgzed awording to Clandinin’s(2013) work living, telling, retelling and reliving life of narrative research. From the result of this research, life in unfamiliar environment and promotion was for family connection, the biggest beat from soldier’s experience was importance of family care. As mentioned above, this work have meanings for deeply researching soldier families’ life experience and this paper will give base theory for other papers about soldier familes’ life.
