| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the secondary physical education teacher entrance exam between Korea and China. Comparative research methods were used to achieve the research purpose. The data were collected through literature review and in-depth interviews with middle school physical education teachers(3 in Korea and 3 in China). As a result of this study, first, there were similarities and differences between Korean and Shandong province in China’s middle school physical education teacher entrance exam system. Second, research participants suggested advantages and disadvantages of the two countries’ physical education teacher entrance exam system. The implications are as follows. First, the secondary physical education teacher entrance systems in both countries need to establish standards for evaluating the contents based on the physical education field in schools. Second, in the second physical skill test in Korea, it is necessary to consider preparing common standards between cities and provinces, reducing the number of physical skills, and increasing level of the difficulty. Third, in China's first written test, it is necessary to include physical education related questions. In addition, Shandong province in China need to conduct additional physical skill tests in the second test. | - |
