In this study, we examine the impact of shared leadership on adaptive performance and aim to verify the mediating effect of psychological ownership in the relationship between shared leadership and adaptive performance. Additionally, we seek to empirically demonstrate the moderating effect of regulatory focus in the relationship between psychological ownership and adaptive performance. To conduct empirical analysis, we administered a Google online survey to 250 employees working in various companies. The results of the analysis indicate that shared leadership has a positive impact on adaptive performance, and the mediating effect of psychological ownership in the relationship between shared leadership and adaptive performance was found to be significant. Additionally, when examining the moderating effect of regulatory focus in the relationship between psychological ownership and adaptive performance, both promotion focus and prevention focus were found to strengthen the positive relationship between psychological ownership and adaptive performance. These findings provide theoretical and practical implications, as well as suggesting limitations and avenues for future research.-
