dc.description.abstractIn this study, a robot automation system was developed for the carrier plate gear shaping process oftransmission. The existing manual process was analyzed, and based on this, a process was developed using arobot automation system; the effects were analyzed after installation at the actual site. In addition to theloading and unloading of workpieces in the existing manual process, problems arising from deburring, jigcleaning, cutting oil removal, and in-stocking were solved and automated. To date, productivity has improved by more than 22%, and workpiece mounting and dismounting defectshave decreased from 0.3% to 0%. Using industrial robots, worker fatigue caused by repetitive tasks can bereduced, and products without defects can be manufactured.-
