- Abstract
- Gears are widely used in dynamic force transmission devices, where 90-Nm universal gearboxes are unique components that transmit power to equipment in a variety of industries. To increase the durability of gearbox systems, we conducted microgeometry analysis to increase the gear strength. A gear design with improved bending strength was presented through numerical analysis using the gear analysis program Romax. The bending strength of the gears was adjusted through dislocation processing, which can improve the bending strength of interacting gear pairs, thus making the gearbox more durable and the machine more efficient.
