- Abstract
- In this paper, System design and verification of JINJUSat-1, a 2U size CubeSat with an earth imaging mission, was performed. JINJUSat-1, which is being developed with the support of local governments, has the main purpose of fostering manpower tailored to the local space industry. JINJUSat-1 simplified its mission and system to suit the CubeSat standard platform, and focused on acquiring satellite technology and mission success through the development process. In addition, by adopting products such as OBC(On Board Computer), IFB(Interface Board), and Solar Panels developed by domestic space companies, JINJUSat-1 intend to contribute to vitalizing the domestic space industry. In particular, the CAM(Camera) bracket was manufactured using 3D printing technology for the first time in Korea. Each subsystem was designed according to the requirements, and functional tests and environmental tests were conducted to verify the performance of the integrated system. The development of JINJUSat-1, organized by the KTL Space Testing Center, will be able to contribute to the systematic construction of CubSat performance verification test facility, which have not yet been established in Korea, as well as training local space experts.
