한 원로 양궁 감독교사의 생애사 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine a senior archery physical education teacher’s life. To this end, Kim Ho Jung was selected as a research participant who has worked in many schools as an archery school sports team director. The data were collected using interviews and related documents. The data were analyzed using content and domain analysis procedure. As a results, Kim Ho Jung began his archery athletes career at Suncheon high school as a founding member in 1973. As soon as he became a physical education teacher, he launched a school archery team and worked as a director. He taught archery student-athletes with dignity as well as expertise. His archery team achieved remarkable results at the national competition. Many student-athletes became archery instructors that were influenced by Kim Ho Jung’s teaching philosophy. He also worked as an administrator at the regional archery association and contributed to archery development in Jeollanam-Do. Based on the results, discussions are provided from academic and practical aspects.
