- Abstract
- 본 연구는 한국이 최초 FTA(FTA: Free Trade Agreement)를 체결한 지 15년 이상이 경과 된 현시점에서 한국의 기체결 FTA를 중심으로 FTA 체약상대국의 지역무역협정(RTA: Regional Trade Agreement) 통상환경변화가 한국과의 교역에 미친 영향을 분석하고 이에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다. 먼저한국이 체결한 FTA 체약상대국의 RTA 네트워크 확대에 따른 한국과의 FTA 발효 전후로 교역 규모 및교역 비중의 변화를 직관적인 비교·분석이 가능하도록 시각화하였다. 또한, 한국이 최초로 FTA를 발효시킨 2004년부터 2019년까지 FTA 체약상대국의 RTA 네트워크 변화에 따른 한국의 교역 규모 및 비중변화를 동태적으로 파악하여 무역창출효과 및 무역전환효과 존재 여부를 확인하고, 한국의 FTA 효과를평가하고 이에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 한국이 체결한 다수의 협정을 대상으로 체약상대국의 FTA 네트워크 변화와 이의 시사점을 보다 거시적으로 조망하였다는 데에 의의가 있다.
