Abstract
This study determined the concentrations and I/O ratios of fine particulate matter in a computer room located in a university by field measurements. The I/O ratios of fine particulate matters ranged from 0.3 ㎛ to 3.0 ㎛ in computer room, are higher than 1. In addition, concentrations of fine particulate matter at lower part (above 50 cm from floor level) of computer room are higher than upper part (above 100 cm and 150 cm from floor level). These results indicate than computer room needs control over fine particulate matter with smaller diameter (0.3 ㎛ to 3.0 ㎛). Removal of fine particulate matter at lower part of computer room also should be considered to reduce occupants’ health problems.
