dc.description.abstractIn this study, we describe the design of an automatic binding machine electric head that binds (packages) steel products, such as coils and pipes, in a set unit. The structure of the automatic binding machine electric head was designed using structural analysis, and the safety factor was secured approximately twice. As a result of the characteristic test, the automatic binding machine with an electric head binds using a servomotor, and its performance, such as the binding cycle time, surpassed that of an automatic binding machine with a pneumatic head. Therefore, the developed automatic binding machine with an electric head is expected to be useful for binding steel products with an iron band.-
