Abstract

This research aims at the effects of performance of firms and level of integration through utilizing logistics information system and external environment to korean firms at san dong province in China. The relation of items were derived from the literature. These steps allowed for a through understanding of the concepts during the item generation stage. In order to verify the hypothesis shown by the research, various techniques were employed. First, reliability analysis of each variable used a chronbach alpha coefficient. Unidimensional characteristics for each factor were assessed using principal components analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Second, the causal relationship between variables checks the path analysis by structural equation model analysis. The results are as follows. First, environmental heterogeneity has a direct influence on integration but munificence, dynamism and hostility have not influence on integration. If the market is competing by various methods, various customer's expecting level of service and various customer's degree of goods preference, firms behave that an integrated level will be raised and it will correspond to change of a market. Second, logistics information system has an influence on integration. Information is understanding to have an influence on ability of a firm that fulfil the integration. The utilization of a high level to information can be a development of integrated logistics ability that firms achieve a competitive advantage. Third, integration has an influence on logistics performance. Integration and performance found the affirmative relation. As the research result, integration found affecting the various production of organization.
