Abstract

The aim of this study is to consider a proper plan for the improvement of members' satisfaction, participation level and financial stabilization of institute. In order to fulfil this study, we analysed questionnaire with members of the Architectural Institute of Korea and interviewed with directors of the bureau related institutes about satisfaction of service, degree of activity program and participation, business program and policy of the Institute. Followings are the results. : 1) Members' satisfaction level of the institute varied according to membership periods, activity degree, the staffs' attitude of bureau and information accessibility. Especially, the informations about public notice, news on the architectural community and new technical researches were found to be influential factors. 2) For the financial independence or stabilization, it was important factor that maintained relations with institutions as such companies, municipals and government agencies. What is moreover, it is founded that profits ensured through the publication, the system of certification and screening system of various kinds are of much help for the financial independence or stabilization of the institute.
