- Abstract
- 이 연구의 목적은 우울, 대인관계, ADL 등에 관련하여 인간의 자연 친화적인 본성을 되살려 긍정적인 정서를 갖도록 하는 원예치료의 효과를 조사하기 위함이다. 원예치료는 누구에게나 적용될 수도 있지만, 특히 역할이 상실된 노인에게는 오랜 여가활동을 통하여 건강을 증진시켜주고 또한 정신적이고 육체적인 기능을 촉진시켜줄 수 있는 유익하고 최우선적으로 적용시킬 수 있는 방법일 것이다. 연구대상자는 각각 9명씩의 통제집단 및 실험집단으로 나누어졌고 원예치료는 실험집단에서 2007년 3월 29일부터 10월 9일까지 총13회 걸쳐 진행되었다.연구결과는, 원예치료는 노인의 우울을 감소시켜주었으며, 또한 대인관계를 현저하게 향상시켜주었지만 ADL에서는 어느 정도 그 효과성만 보여주었다.
