- Abstract
- This study examined the linkage between explicit display rule and affective
delivery and examined the moderating influence of perceived managerial
mechanism(display training, monitoring, perceived compensation) of emotional
labor. Result from a sample of 471 from 5 Korean organizations revealed a
positive relationship between explicit display rule and affective delivery.
Moreover, the association explicit display rule and affective delivery was
facilitated by monitoring and perceived compensation. For example, explicit
display rule harmonized with monitoring to create affective delivery. The limitation and implications of these findings for further research on emotional
labor are discussed.
