- Abstract
- SCM(Supply Chain Management) is accepted by many firms as a strategic weapon. SCM has been widely discussed among academic researchers and business managers. They usually focused focal firms. The few studies have examined view of suppliers in SCM. So we will conduct a research about suppliers accepted SCM. This study draws from resource-based view(knowledge-based view) and transaction cost theory to propose a model. It investigates a relationship of organizational resource, SCM integration, SCM supplier's perfomance, and competitive advantage. To analyze of this model, we developed self-report survey. We collected data in Busan and Kyongnam area. The result indicate that organizational resources(absorptive capabilities, infrastructure of information technology, relational specific assets) affect partially SCM integration. Second, SCM integration has a little effect on SCM performance(operational efficiency and market knowledge creation) and competitive advantage of firms. Finally, competitive advantage of firms is partially affected SCM performance.
