| dc.description.abstract | This paper analyzes how R&D investment has contributed and will contribute to promoting livestock manure recycling in the aspect of economy. We surveyed companies producing compost and liquified fertilizer and experts in agricultural technology centers to measure the effect of livestock manure recycling technologies that have been developed and will be developed by R&D investment on used of compost and liquified fertilizer. The estimated results show that developed technologies increased compost demand by 1.9% and liquified fertilizer demand by 26.4% and decreased production cost of them by 6.7% in 2009 compared with 2006. The technologies which have been developed and will be developed are estimated to increase compost demand by 2.1% and liquified fertilizer demand by 66% and decrease production cost of them by 7.4% in 2015 compared with 2010. The social benefit of developed technologies is estimated to be 13.5~30.2 billion won. Also, the social benefit of the technologies which have been developed and will be developed is estimated to be 18.4~37.8 billion won. | - |
