Abstract
A cyanurate derivative (1) possessing three carboxylic acid groups forms a two-component supramolecular hydrogel in the presence of 4,4-bipyridine (2) by intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions between -CH of 4,4-bipyridine (2) and -C=O of cyanurate (1) as well as between the N atoms of 2 and -COOH of 1.
