- Abstract
- 본 연구는 건강취약지역 저소득층이 인식하는 건강불평등의 의미를 초점집단(Focus group)으로 연구한 질적 연구이다. 연구의 목적은 건강취약지역저소득층의 건강불평등을 이해하고 건강증진을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자한다. 경상남도의 20개 시ㆍ군에서 2004년부터 2007년간 표준화 사망비가지속적으로 높은 40개 취약지역으로 선정된 읍ㆍ면ㆍ동 중에서 15개 지역을임의로 선정하여 각 지역별로 초점집단(Focus group) 참여자를 구성하고 현상학적 분석방법에 근거하여 분석하였다. 연구결과로 경상남도 건강취역지역 저소득층이 인식하는 건강불평등은 개인의 건강행태, 빈곤수준, 지역사회서비스부족 및 지역주민 특성 등 4개의 범주로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 건강취약지역의 저소득층의 건강증진을 위한 몇 가지 제언을 제시하였다.
