- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to examine sport pedagogy master experience from sport instructor’ perspective. To this end, this study used an autoethnography as a method. Specifically, the data were collected from research note, individual interviews, and related documents for two years. The data were analyzed based on content analysis, inductive and deductive coding procedure. For the trustworthiness of this study, triangulation, member checking, and expert meeting were conducted. As a result of this study, three themes were emerged. First, ‘Together but thought differently’ revealed ‘school-centered world rather than sport field’ and ‘theory which is far away from field’. Second, ‘from peripheral to central person’ revealed ‘escape from peripheral complex’ and ‘a connection between the field and the theory’.
Third, ‘growing up as a novice researcher’ revealed ‘developing an insight about research’ and ‘repeat stacking and breaking’. Conclusion and future suggestions were provided.
