- Abstract
- The electrolyte materials BaCe1-xFexO3 (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) thick films were synthesized by using the screen printing method and their structural and electrical properties were investigated for solid oxide fuel cells. With increasing addition of Fe2O3, all the thick films showed typical XRD patterns of cubic perovskite structure. The grain size increased up to 0.2 mol% then decreased. The thicknesses of all the films were approximately 25-30 mu m. At x = 0.2, the BaCe1-xFexO3 thick film showed good conductivity and activation energy of 2.98 x 10(-4) S cm(-1) and 0.23 eV, respectively.
