- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to analyze the moderating effect of learning capabilities on the type of strategic alliance (pre-competitive alliance, competitive alliance, pro-competitive alliance, noncompetitive alliance) and alliance performance. To analyze this objective, we conducted a survey in target companies which signed partnership and international business. This study reviews various literatures and developed a research model. To examine the research model, we collected data from international companies. Study results showed that the learning capabilities on a significant moderating effect on the alliance type and alliance performance can provide a very meaningful implication where international firms achieve better performance to identify the core competencies to be suitable for the partnership. ?2015 International Information Institute.
