Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the moderating effect of national culture on alliance orientation and performance for Korea and U.S. partnership companies. To analyze this objective, the South Korean and U.S. companies which do international business and have partnership were surveyed. Results showed that the national cultural factor significantly affects the alliance orientation and firm's performance. It can provide a very meaningful implication where firms decide on alliance strategies by considering cultural environments in overseas countries in order to achieve better performance. ?2015 International Information Institute.
