Abstract
Despite the spectacular growth in the use of smartphones in recent years, still deeper attention on the possibility of continuous development is needed. In this regard, it has become important to encourage smartphone users to use the functions continuously. To notify the meaningful factors for the satisfaction and loyalty of the users in using smartphones, this study focuses on personal innovativeness, self-efficacy, and perceived quality. Appropriate measures were developed with previous studies and tested on 211 respondents who have used smartphones. The results showed that personal innovativeness has negative effects on perceived quality of smartphone and customer satisfaction. Smartphone self-efficacy has a positive effect on perceived quality of smartphone. Perceived quality of smartphone also has positive effects on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Thus, this study can be an important practical/academic reference to provide meaningful insights to strengthen smartphone quality through personal innovativeness and self-efficacy.
