- Abstract
- This paper focuses on a case study for managing the environment for harvested agricultural products using a sensor-network system in a cold warehouse on a farm. We established temperature and humidity as environmental factors that directly affect the quality and marketability of agricultural products, and then obtained and analyzed the data of the temperature and humidity in the cold warehouse based on the storage location (high or low, left or right) of the agricultural product. Furthermore, based on the obtained data, we identified problems and proposed improvements or feedback for existing cold warehouses on farms. In addition, we directly installed sensors and a monitoring system in the farm warehouse to obtain in-situ test data, thereby ensuring the objective of this study.
