Abstract
A loosely coupled distributed antenna array for lateral misalignment-improved near-field power transfer system is presented. The characteristics of the proposed resonant coil are verified by the comparisons among the theoretical analysis, simulated results, and experimental measurements. Using the distributed loop structure, the uniform overall transfer range can be extended up to approximately 67% compared with the conventional square antenna according to the lateral misalignment of the receiving antenna at transfer distance.
