- Abstract
- Plant maintenance (PM) turns to be inefficient because of decreasing productivity, increasing cost and inefficient information system support and integration. For solving those issues, the goal of PM is toward enhancing facility efficiency, cost reduction of maintenance and encouraging productivity. For the Basis on maintenance management innovation, work process innovation execution and sustainability through integrated maintenance management implementation should be preceded. To execute PM Innovation, review of management environment in macro perspective, best practice benchmarking, change management for related staff and management level and introduction of maintenance management system should be considered. This paper suggested that PM innovation would build real time input and analysis process based on planning and scheduling process, and analyze integrated hierarchy with production and inventory process to improve the communication with related organizations.
