- Abstract
- Steel structures have been generally exposed atmospheric corrosion environments such as humidity, temperature, airborne salt from the sea and chemical components in regional areas etc. to function as structural members of infrastructures. These atmospheric corrosion environments have naturally generate the corrosion problem of steel structures based on oxidational characteristics of structural steel materials. Therefore, it is important to measure the corrosion environment and condition for steel structure. In this study, thus, corrosion environment and condition were examined using atmospheric corrosion monitoring sensors, monitoring steel plate( MSP) and environmental data as temperature, humidity etc. Then compare corrosivity grade was calculated and compared to use basic data for proposing mean corrosion depth estimation method depending on structural members using monitoring data.
