- Abstract
- We will have to prepare the following for prompt handling of marine accidents in the event of a collision with a ship in sailing and the Gwang-an Bridge, a maritime structure. First, all vessels entering and leaving at home and abroad should be alerted to drunk driving, and promotional and educational activities by related agencies related to maritime traffic safety should be intensified. Second, it will have to be prepared systematically so that major offshore facilities can detect and identify the danger situation from sea in advance by enhancing the accident risk for the nation's critical port facilities, and that direct and indirect rapid response procedures can be carried out. Third, if the collision with the vessel and the bridge cannot be prevented directly as in this incident, a system for rapid joint response shall be prepared by automatically linking with relevant agencies such as the maritime police and the maritime traffic control center, and a new maritime safety monitoring and response system shall be established through legal and institutional readjustment of maritime safety.
