- Botanical Sciences is a scientific journal published by the Botanical Society of Mexico (Sociedad Botánica de México). The journal publishes original and unpublished contributions in all fundamentals fields of plant sciences, including evolutionary biology, biogeography, conservation, ecology, ethnobotany, genetics, physiology, molecular systematics, structural botany, taxonomy and floristics among others. Contributions on new species and regional topic are welcome. Botanical Sciences only publishes contributions in English and Spanish. The Accepted papers are invited to write an Abstract in Spanish and English. The Editorial Board is integrated by scholars working in different fields of plant sciences. Scientific quality of accepted contributions is guaranteed by strict peer-review. The Editorial Board includes a group of Associate Editors who send the manuscripts to specialist scientists to carry out the review process. Accepted contributions are original research papers, and review papers that synthesize the current knowledge and suggest new perspectives to different fields of botany.
