- The Indian Journal of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (IJHBT) is the official journal of the Indian Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (ISHBT), the national hematology society. This peer-reviewed journal features articles aimed at clinical hematologists, hematopathologists, basic scientists and allied workers in the field of hematology and is dedicated to advancing patient care and basic and translational research in the field. This medical journal focuses on new and emerging treatments, diagnostic and prognostic technologies, cutting-edge science and advances in benign and malignant blood disorders. Articles are welcomed from across the world, and there are no charges for publishing. While novelty is highly regarded; well-conducted and scientifically-sound studies that place the rapid global developments happening in this exciting specialty in an Indian/Asian perspective are also given careful consideration. The quarterly journal publishes Original and Review Articles, Consensus Statements/Guidelines, Short Communications, Correspondence and Images in Hematology in the related fields of Hematology, Hemato-oncology, Molecular Hematology, Pediatric Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Genetics, and Laboratory Hematology.
