윤중호 시에 나타난 청산의 장소성과 인간 중심의 헤테로토피아

This study aims to examine the way in which ‘Cheongsan’(靑山), invoked by Yoon Jung-ho, who lived the life of a ‘non-modern person,’ is realized as a heterotopic place. In his third poetry collection, Calling Cheongsan, Yoon Jung-ho repeatedly invokes ‘Cheongsan’ in the serial poems “Calling Cheongsan,” thereby shaping his own distinctive perception of place. This study investigates the meaning and placeness of Cheongsan, which Yoon Jung-ho continuously invoked, based on Michel Foucault’s concept of heterotopia as a theoretical framework. The Cheongsan invoked by Yoon Jung-ho is neither an abstract ideal world nor an imaginary place. As a heterotopic place, Cheongsan is not an object of longing located outside the place where the poetic subject exists; rather, it is a concrete site of life already embedded within the lived reality. Nevertheless, the reason why the poetic subject states that he cannot see Cheongsan or fails to recognize the place where he resides as Cheongsan itself is that he has not yet become aware that the reality in which he lives is itself a heterotopic place. The most distinctive feature of Yoon Jung-ho’s heterotopia of Cheongsan lies in the fact that its essential element extends beyond the place itself to the people who inhabit that place. The attitude of recognizing the marginalized people and the places where they struggle to sustain their lives—particularly those living in the ‘marketplace’—as constitutive elements of Cheongsan is central to defining Yoon Jung-ho’s heterotopia. His perception of Cheongsan not as a specific ideal place but as life itself reveals the originality of the heterotopia presented in Yoon Jung-ho’s poetry.
