This paper proposes a DC solid-state circuit breaker topology that alleviates the voltage-current rating of SiC switching devices. The proposed approach combines the parallel structure of SiC switches for the sequential conduction control method and the inverse current injection method's circuit breaker (CB). The operational modes are analyzed, and the validity of the proposed method is verified by PSpice simulation. © 2024 IEEE.
