컨조인트 분석을 활용한 물류산업 일자리의 경제적 가치 추정: 인천 사례
초록
Purpose : This study estimates the economic value of jobs in the logistics industry in Incheon and derives policy implications for improving job attractiveness through non-wage factors. Research design, data, methodology : A conjoint survey based on a Choice Experiment (CE) design was conducted with 200 university students, job seekers, and early-career workers. Job attributes included industry type, organizational culture, job location, starting salary, and employment type. A rank-ordered logit model grounded in random utility theory was applied to estimate marginal willingness to pay (MWTP). Results : Logistics jobs are the least preferred among the four industries. Relative to logistics positions, respondents are willing to accept lower annual salaries to choose finance (KRW 1.025 million), IT (KRW 0.906 million), and manufacturing (KRW 0.341 million) under identical conditions. Employment stability has a stronger effect than industry choice, with an MWTP of KRW 1.078 million for regular employment and KRW 0.531 million for a horizontal organizational culture. Job location is not statistically significant. The estimated salary premium required to move from the least to the most preferred scenario is approximately KRW 2.79 million per year. Conclusions : The findings suggest that the attractiveness gap of Incheon’s logistics jobs can be substantially reduced through improvements in organizational culture and employment stability without large wage increases. Policy efforts should therefore focus on expanding regular employment and fostering horizontal workplace culture to enhance the long-term competitiveness of the regional logistics industry.
