This paper is to study the improvement plan so that the standard work estimate for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) photogrammetry, which is expanding its utility in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, can contain the expansion of the field of use. For the study, it was compared that the standard work estimate of the UAV photogrammetry which was newly included in the 2020 construction standard work estimate to standard work estimate of map production by the aerial photogrammetry and then was suggested the improvement plan of the standard work estimate of the UAV photogrammetry. In addition, in order to be used for smart construction in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the direction of how the work regulations related to the output of UAV photogrammetry should be revised was suggested. And the necessity of a standard work estimate revision of the UAV photogrammetry according to the revised regulations was examined. The research results are as follows. First, it is necessary to present the the standard work estimate according to the photo scale of the UAV photogrammetry as like the aerial photogrammetry. Second, the necessity of independent standard work estimate of the UAV photogrammetry was confirmed because the working conditions and factors were different for detailed work types that stipulate the use of standard work estimate of aerial photogrammetry. Third, in the era of smart construction, it is necessary to revise the related work regulations and the standard work estimate of the UAV photogrammetry so that UAV can be actively used for BIM design and construction management, and facility safety inspection.
